Wow.... the level of detail is amazing... I'm inspired, stunning level design and great quirky extras. Only one issue, I got a MAV when I hit reached the ladder. It's great how you include things like the 'particles' and 'reflections'.

this is excelant, my only complaint is there where alot of polys and gave me alot of lag, also was a little hard to find out what was shooting at me, you are a genius at modern level design though, look forward to the final product

thanks for the comments, yea i used to get that MAV at the ladder too, but it hasnt happened in a while, its prob something in the next area causing it.
theres another 3 areas after the ladder but theres still a bit of work to do on them. i still have to do things like wepons, hud, enemies etc hopefully it shouldnt take to long.

it looks good so far, although a good game takes time.
so dont rush it, take your time to make it perfect ;)

It's amazingly detailed. When I got to the cinema, there wasn't really anywhere for me to go, and I fell through the floor.

i have uploaded a new demo of frogs and the damned, http://www.gamefront.com/files/20308990 ... Damned.rar , still have a lot of work to do on it, wud like to animate my own characters etc. iv used an enemy model (from joes page on the chaos brothers website) just to have an idea where the enemies wud be placed. working on a video for the story elements at the mo and new wepon models, its gradually coming together. anyway let me know wat yas think :)

i played it and im sorry to say but its weird compared to the original demo. the effects are nice, but it dosent make any real sense unless its some kind of dream. still good, just not as polished as the original. also, when your making a reflection effect make sure to use only one floor panel (and stretch it out) that way you cant see the edges as you make it transparent.

yea i had tried the reflection thing alright but the strtched texture didnt look right so went with single squares but il try it again and see whats its like. i still have to include more trigger boxes in levels for videos, onscreen text etc to explain the story, sorry it doesnt really make much sense at the mo but it will as the game nears completion. also this is the first episode the shopping mall been the last area, probably make episode2 in p3d. has anybody use video in their games using trigger boxes or even at the start or end of a game? was wondering do they need loading times?

I have a lot of trouble with video which is why in my game i tell the story in real time with something that hasn't been done before, but that's a secret.

also when text appears in the screen, be sure to make it a darker color as white is hard to see sometimes.
